Dear Patients,
We will now be sending appointment reminders via email and text message! We want to make it simple and convenient for you to confirm and be reminded of your appointments.
You will receive a message a week before your appointment, asking you to confirm. If you receive it via e-mail, please click on the confirmation button. If you receive the message to your cell phone, please reply with "Yes" or call the office.
It is essential for our office to verify that you will be coming, so please confirm your appointment! If you need to make changes, please call the office at 209-957-8000. We require a 24 hour cancellation notice.
We will also be sending you a second message two days before the appointment to remind you of the date and time. This is just a reminder so there is no need to respond.
Some things to keep in mind about the messages:
- Parents with multiple children coming in on the same day will automatically receive a message for each child's appointment. If this is not agreeable, please let us know. We will turn off the automated messages and personally send you a text message or e-mail reminding you of the appointments according to your preference.
- If you receive the message to your e-mail the sender will say dr@remindmemd.com. If you receive the message to your cell phone, the sender will say dr@urdoc.ms. This is the address of the service we are using, but all of the messages are from Midtown Optometry so please don't disregard them and save them as Midtown Optometry.
If you would like any changes made to the way you receive these messages or if you have any questions, please call the office at Midtown Optometry. We will customize the system to work according to your needs the best we can!
