October is National Dental Hygiene Month

This month is the time to spread awareness about the importance of oral health. Good breath, strong teeth, and clean gums are all critical for oral health. It's essential to listen to our Dr. DeLuca when she tells us to brush daily, floss weekly, and get regular checkups.

You may not know this, but having a healthy mouth helps the rest of your body stay healthy, too. A look inside your mouth can tell you much more than you realize about what's happening in your body. Our mouths are sometimes called "the window," looking into the rest of our bodies. Plus, a healthy mouth means keeping your teeth when you get older!
