Great staff and dental service! I had major bone loss issues from an old TMJ surgery 15 years ago that caused a slow large infection and major bone loss. After 4 years of dental work and multiple dentists and I was introduced to Dr McCracken and his expertise on laser. This technology is amazing as it healed up my jaw bone, gums and tendons from a cellular level. I had less sinus issues and more control over my fascial muscles. I recommend going here after any dental work, sinus issues or fascial numbness or pain.

The team at this office was excellent. Jamie was incredibly kind and helped keep my nerves at bay the whole appointment. The Dr was very good about explaining all my options and making sure they didn’t progress until my pain was under control. Procedure went pretty fast once I was numb. Very kind, great at noticing I needed lots of details and information, and very pleasant to connect with. I’d recommend this dentist and this team to anyone. Worth the 2 hour drive. They even gave me home tips about ozone and things I can do to better my overall health.

I was happy was the service I got. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. However the one thing I was NOT happy about we she had my teeth 85 percent when she said I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED YOUR INSURANCE COVERAGE BEFORE I STARTED. Of course the debridment was NOT covered. I had to pay 220 dollars OUT OF POCKET. I didn’t even get a choice to say yes or no.

Dr Todd McCracken and his staff are a blessing from God! We met at Dr David Winslow’s office some times ago. Over time as I spoke with Dr McCracken, I could see how kind and knowledgeable he is. I started using his services when out of nowhere a huge sore developed on the back right of my tongue. It was larger than the fingernail on my middle finger. It was brutal to swallow, drink water, and everything I’d taken for granted for the first 64 years of my life. I’d had canker sores a few times decades ago in the front of my mouth, but nothing remotely like this. Thankfully, I was at Dr Winslow’s and was asking him about this, and in walks Dr McCracken. The following Monday I was in his chair, and he used the laser on this brutal sore. I thought it would really hurt, but it didn’t. He charged one flat fee, and said keep coming every day, if possible, until we get rid of that sore. He said he’d treat it as many times as needed, with no extra charges. After 4 treatments, along with warm salt water and rinsing with strong probiotics that he and Dr Winslow recommended, I feel great!! Thank you Dr McCracken and staff!!

I have never been to a dentist that was so caring about my dental hygiene and the entire oral-facial system. The office environment is cheerful and at the same time professional. I have been Dr. McCracken's patient for many years now. He is so compassionate and takes special care of his patients. I have co-workers who were not a patient but were in severe pain and he took care of them right away; they also would not dream of seeing any other dentist. Few things cause me to have greater anxiety than going to the dentist. I tense up, my heart rate makes a hummingbird's look slow, and I'm often a puddle of perspiration at the end of the appointment. So I very much appreciated Dr. McCracken's empathy and his approach to pain avoidance and pain management. I had 4 cracked teeth that needed crowns, which amped up my anxiety level to new heights. Thankfully the sedation and local anesthetic worked to perfection for the temporary crown installations during the first appointment. And Dr. McCracken exhibited great patience with me in the second appointment (to install the permanent crowns), when I needed additional local anesthetic to alleviate lingering sensitivity.

My dad was a dentist in Denton for 40 years so I was very particular about who I wanted to go to and this practice at Laser Smile Studio has far exceeded my expectations ! I would recommend this practice to anyone trying to locate a good dentist .

The staff as well as the dentist is wonderful. Unlike my last dentist, this dentist and office staff is always completely honest with me. The reason I have given a low rating is because twice now, they have become out-of-network for me. When I found out the first time, I left this dentist and went to someone else. When my dental insurance changed last year, I was thrilled to know this dentist was in-network and I immediately transferred back to them. Then yesterday for my routine visit, I was notified that they are no longer in-network. I don't know if this is an insurance problem or an issue with this dentist. I am really disappointed about this as I love this dental office! So what am I to do?

Dr. Todd... is a caring & experienced dentist. He did 2 different crown procedures on my teeth. One was old crown broke off from old post & the other one broken tooth with old cavity near by infected sinuses. He has expertise with laser which helped me a lot. I wished I knew him sooner.

I had a crown come off the day that the dentist was going to leave at noon for Christmas. He waited for me until I could get to the office to put my crown back on. I have been a regular patient of Laser Smile Studio since June of 2011. I had to have extensive work done including laser treatment of the gums, a root canal and several crowns, so it was scheduled out over the next three years. Since completion of this major work I have continued to return for routine cleanings and other maintenance including the recent addition of a bridge. I have been well pleased with both the results and with the way I have been treated by everybody at the clinic.

Dr. McCracken is a top notch dentist with top notch employees. I love this office. Seriously, before finding Dr. McCracken, I asked for nitrous oxide to have my teeth cleaned. Now, I am relaxed enough in this office that I need nothing for simple dental procedures. Wish I had had this kind of dentist and dental care when I was much younger. It is a joy to visit this dental office. My gums and teeth have never been healthier. Shelly, the hygienist I have requested for years, is very helpful with feedback if she finds a need for me to focus on a particular problem area. We have been through a few dentists in the area. My favorite part about this office is it’s comfortable and they do what they need to educate you instead of harp on you about what you’re not doing and what chemicals you should be using. It has been almost a year since I have been to a dentist and even though it hurt because of the lack of cleanings I have had, I felt so much better knowing all of my options when I left.

My comment has to do with the in-office insurance I became part of a couple of years ago and thought that I was part of it on a continuing basis, but I was told yesterday that my coverage was dropped after one year. Since there was no contract to sign and since there was no invitation to renew (a normal procedure with any type of insurance), or notification of expiration, I consider this omission very unfair. It's probably cost me at least a couple of hundred dollars in insurance discounts.

A couple of years ago I had the Pinhole Surgical Technique (PST), a minimally invasive treatment option to reverse gingival recession without grafting or sutures. Can't say enough about the great results.

This is the best Dental practice ever. They are professional, friendly and above all: compassionate. I have had a tremendous amount of dental work and its great having a dentist that takes care of my apprehension and pain needs. Superior service. I have referred others to this practice and they have also been extremely satisfied.

I travel 40 miles to Laser Smile Studio only because they are the best in the business. Dr. McCracken has literally saved my teeth. I had a dentist that wanted to remove 6 of them. With the combination of the latest laser technology, pain management and ongoing dental health, Laser Smile Studio is the only place I will trust my dental hygiene to.

What a wonderful staff. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. They were all so caring. Dr. McCracken was so kind, and took the time to explain everything, answering all my questions in detail.

While the hygienist was cleaning my teeth, she noticed a very small problem that would soon develop into something more serious. Thanks for providing me with a quick appointment to treat the problem before I left town. Dr. McCracken's skills and technology made the procedure so comfortable that i walked out of the office with no pain and no swelling.

I have been seeing Dr. McCracken for almost 10 years now. I have never had good teeth and due to awful experiences with my pediatric dentist, I was absolutely terrified of seeing the dentist. After seeing Dr. McCracken, I am no longer afraid of the dentist. Dr. McCracken always did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable and limit the pain as much as possible. For me this usually meant multiple doses of Novocain if I ever needed any work done. I just saw him the other day to get a filling and he used his new laser to treat me. The only word to describe it is AMAZING! I did not have to be numbed at all and despite having extremely sensitive teeth I could not feel a single thing. Added bonus, the whole process only took about 5-10 minutes. I cannot recommend Dr. McCracken enough. He has literally changed my life. He always goes above and beyond for his patients!

I had a great experience at Laser Smile Studio. There was almost no wait before going into the back and the staff was awesome, especially the treatment coordinator. The doctor was very personable and told me everything he was doing which was new to me and interesting.
